Devon Stone became a part of the Barfield, Murphy, Shank and Smith family in 2016 as an IT Support Technician. Working and maintaining computer systems and networks, as well as diagnosing hardware and solving technical problems, Devon brings a passion and a positivity to each task set before him. As an analytical and creative member of the team, he focuses on decreasing technical downtimes to maximize company productivity which, in return, generates positive outcomes for everyone.
Customer service is the name of the game for Devon, and he is always pushing himself to give people more than what they expect to get. Growing up, his father impressed upon him the impact of a positive perception and the ability it brings to the shaping of reality.
When he’s not working with technology, Devon loves creating functional art with clay. His time spent as a volunteer with the Alabama Clay Conference has him dreaming of opening up a pottery studio one day. He enjoys playing the guitar and riding motorcycles to places he’s never been.
