About Town: BMSS 25th Anniversary

BMSS, the largest locally-owned accounting firm in Birmingham, kicked off their 25th anniversary by inviting clients, employees and friends to a celebratory event at the historic Florentine Building in downtown Birmingham. Don Murphy, John Shank and Keith Barfield founded the firm in 1991 with Steve Smith joining in 1994 to round out the firm’s name.  For photos, click on About Town.

Known for being different from the typical accounting firm, they also used the event to debut the music video “CPAs On Fleek: XXV” which was written by and stars two of the firm’s CPAs. The music video can be viewed on the firm’s website and YouTube.
